[In the left margin] Turner Wilie Will In the Name of God Amen, I Willie Turner of Southampton County in Virginia being weak in body but of a sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner & form as follows Item: I lend unto my dear mother Lucy Turner during of her natural life all my slaves namely: Button Bett Fanny Sarmon Sam Isham Wallis Mason Charlott Jinny Grape Abel Hannah Lucy and Pleasant. Likewise all the residue of my Estate Individually. Item: My will and desire is that after the death of my dear mother that all the above mentioned property consisting of slaves and residue of my estate totally with their increase and improvement should Immediately descend unto John Wesley Turner as his proper right and title, and should the said John Wesley Turner die under age and without lawful issue of his body, then my will & desire is that the said mention'd slaves and residue of my estate with their proper increase and improvements should be Equally divided Between Lucy Little and John Little to them & their heirs & assigns forever.
